2025 Hyundai Tucson Hybrid drive-away deals target Toyota RAV4

Hyundai is hoping to pull buyers away from the Toyota RAV4 Hybrid with drive-away deals on its Tucson Hybrid throughout October.

Drive-away specials for the 2025 Hyundai Tucson Hybrid line-up have been announced by the Korean car maker, as it pushes to close the gap with the segment-leading Toyota RAV4 Hybrid.

Hyundai has announced the entry-level Tucson Hybrid is now available from $46,990 drive-away – with the deal coming less than four months after details of the 2025 model were outlined.

The Tucson Hybrid is powered by a 1.6-litre turbocharged four-cylinder petrol engine mated to an electric motor, putting out a combined 169kW and 350Nm while delivering a claimed fuel consumption rate of 5.2 litres per 100 kilometres.

There are three versions of the Tucson Hybrid available, the base model with front-wheel drive, the Tucson Hybrid Elite – available with both front- and all-wheel drive – and the range-topping all-wheel-drive Tucson Hybrid Premium.

All hybrid models come with a six-speed automatic transmission.

New for 2025 are LED headlights and tail-lights, a 6.6-inch touchscreen for the dual-zone climate control, a 12.3-inch infotainment touchscreen with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, keyless entry and start, front parking sensors, and 18-inch wheels.

Step up to the Tucson Hybrid Elite – available from $51,990 drive-away as a limited-time deal for the front-wheel-drive version – and you gain a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster, heated steering wheel, a powered tailgate, and Highway Driving Assist semi-autonomous driving technology.

For those wanting the Tucson Hybrid Elite with all-wheel drive, Hyundai is offering a drive-away deal from $56,990.

The range-topping Tucson Hybrid Premium adds a panoramic glass sunroof, projection-type LED headlights, a head-up display, and 19-inch alloy wheels, and is available from $61,490 drive-away.

For those in parts of New South Wales, the special pricing represents a saving of almost $3600 for the Premium variant.

Hyundai offers a five-year, unlimited-kilometre warranty on all passenger models, along with complimentary road-side assistance for the first 12 months.
