2021 Audi A4 Allroad long-term review: All roads

The expression “it does what it says on the tin” feels like such an indelible part of our society that it could have been penned by Socrates or carved into stone back at the dawn of humanity. Used to describe something that is as much by name as it is by nature, the idiom suggests nothing is left to imagination or interpretation.

When Mercedes-Benz CEO Ola Källenius unveiled the EQS back in April, he described it as a “defining moment” for the world’s oldest carmaker. Such statements are often heard in automotive industry circles. 2021 Subaru Outback review

The Subaru Outback might be marketed as a large SUV, with enough room for the family and their gear. But, it’s never quite cast off the shackles of its station wagon-based genesis. And it’s all the better for it. Look closely at the 2021 Subaru Outback, and you can still see its wagon roots. It looks more like a jacked-up station wagon than an out-and-out SUV, and that’s no bad thing.

Video: Audi A5 v BMW 3 Series v Genesis G70 - Drive Car of the Year 2021 Best Medium Luxury Car

Tesla owner creates V8 sound for his car and it’s awesome

A Tesla owner in the US has added V8 sound to his electric car and the result needs to be heard to be believed. 2021 Kia Carnival Platinum long-term review: Side benefits

I love when a good fringe benefit comes my way. It'll happen to you too if you're sensible, or maybe daring enough, to consider a people mover as your next new car. To those already up in arms about the thought of driving one – let alone owning one – I understand, if your point of reference is a mid-2000s Toyota Tarago. I also agree somewhat that this old, now discontinued badge does conjure up thoughts of dagginess and uncool in myself too.

2021 Mercedes-Benz Valente review

Mercedes’s Valente has been updated for 2021, with a range of changes to specification and pricing made to the commercial-grade people mover.
