2026 LDV eDeliver 5 price and specs: Small electric van now on sale
The LDV electric van range has expanded to three models with the impending arrival of a new compact offering rated for up to 335km of driving range.
- 2026 LDV eDeliver 5 pricing and specifications
- Small electric van arrives from less than $50,000 for ABN holders
- Rated for up to 335km of driving range
- Priced from $47,990 drive-away in limited offer
LDV has fast-tracked the launch of its smallest and cheapest electric van in Australia to date, the 2026 LDV eDeliver 5, due in showrooms in July in three body formats.
The eDeliver 5 fits between the small Volkswagen Caddy and mid-size Toyota HiAce in footprint, and will compete with the Kia PV5 as one of the more compact vans – electric or otherwise – available locally.
It will be priced from $47,990 drive-away for ABN holders – as part of LDV’s limited-time deal – or $52,621 drive-away for private buyers in short-wheelbase, low-roof guise.
The drive-away prices make the eDeliver 5 one of the cheapest electric vans in the country, competing with the Farizon V7E at $49,990 drive-away for private buyers, and Kia PV5 at $55,990 plus on-roads.

The eDeliver 5 is also similar in price to the entry-level diesel Caddy, which is $46,500 plus on-road costs for a smaller van.
LDV says it has fast-tracked the Australian launch of its third electric van, after the eDeliver 7 and eDeliver 9, after air-freighting an example to local roads for “final validation”.
Expressions of interest are now open, as are order books at “participating LDV dealers”, ahead of the first deliveries in July 2026.
Powering the new van is a single 120kW/420Nm front electric motor and 64kWh battery pack, for WLTP-rated driving ranges between 301km and 335km, depending on variant, and a 20 to 80 per cent fast-charge time of 36 minutes at up to 70kW.

A table detailing body lengths, payloads, cargo volume and other key specifications is included at the bottom of this story, but the short-wheelbase LDV is similar in length to, and slightly wider than, a long-wheelbase Caddy.
“There has been a seismic shift in consumer behaviour due to recent geopolitical tensions, fuel insecurity, and surging diesel costs,” LDV Australia general manager Dinesh Chinnappa said in a media statement.
“With that in mind we brought forward our plans to introduce the LDV eDeliver 5 to the Australian market, which is why stock will initially be limited.”
A five-year/160,000km warranty will be offered on the vehicle, plus an eight-year/250,000km battery warranty.
