2025 Mercedes-Benz C200 Sport Edition adds equipment for a lower price

Mercedes-Benz has added a new special-edition C-Class with unique styling details, but a lower drive-away price for most Australian buyers.

The latest limited-edition version of the 2025 Mercedes-Benz C-Class sedan adds thousands of dollars worth of extra features for – in all but one region of Australia – a lower drive-away price.

The Mercedes-Benz C200 Sport Edition is available to order now in limited numbers, priced from $87,800 plus on-road costs – or until June 30, $92,500 drive-away nationwide.

It makes the Sport Edition cheaper than the regular C200 in all regions of Australia bar the ACT where, according to the Mercedes-Benz website, the standard car is $92,076 drive-away – compared to between $92,809 and $96,142 elsewhere.

The Sport Edition adds 19-inch black and silver alloy wheels, and rear privacy glass – items that recently returned from standard to an optional $1800 Design Package on the regular C200.

It also includes a rear boot-lid lip spoiler – a first for a non-AMG version of the latest C-Class in Australia – plus the Night Package, with gloss black finishes on the mirror caps, window trim, and fins around the Mercedes-Benz grille badge.

Inside, there are ‘metal-structure’ accents on the centre console and dashboard, replacing gloss black.

Shared with the regular C200 are features such as the AMG Line package, sports suspension, adaptive LED headlights, keyless entry and start, a 360-degree camera, and power-operated boot lid.

There is black, light grey or black/brown ‘Artico’ leather-look upholstery, power-adjustable heated front sports seats, dual-zone climate control, an 11.9-inch touchscreen, 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster, and wireless phone charging.

Safety features as standard include lane-keep assist, blind-spot monitoring, traffic sign recognition, a tyre pressure loss warning, and front and rear parking sensors.

Unchanged is the 150kW/300Nm 1.5-litre turbocharged four-cylinder petrol engine matched with a nine-speed automatic transmission, rear-wheel drive, and a 48-volt mild-hybrid system that can assist the engine under load to trim fuel use.

Buyers can choose from High-tech Silver Metallic, Polar White, Graphite Grey, Selenite Grey, Sodalite Blue and Spectral Blue colours at no additional cost.
