2015 Nissan Navara recalled with child restraint system fault

Nissan Australia has recalled 73 examples of its 2015 Navara, citing a potential fault with the dual-cab ute’s child restraint system (CRS). The affected vehicles were sold by Nissan between 13 May 2015 and 1 November 2017. The recall notice, lodged with the Australian Competition and Consumer Commission (ACCC), says: “The child restraint system (CRS) top tethers may not be strong enough to keep a child seat securely fastened and may break during an accident.
