Skoda is planning to bring a new Volkswagen Golf-sized electric hatch to market in 2024. As a Volkswagen Group brand, it's believed the new Skoda hatch will be based on the 'MEB' architecture which underpins the Volkswagen ID.3 and Cupra Born, according to Spanish publication motor.es. In the ID.3, up to 150kW/310Nm is delivered to the rear axle from a single electric motor, offering a range between 330 and 550 kilometres on a single charge under the WLTP standard, depending on the variant.
