VFACTS 2020: Headline models from Peugeot and Renault have big wins

2020 will always be known as a year like no other – and Australia's new-car sales results are in to back that up. The last two months of the year showed signs of recovery, but for many brands supply remains an issue. To the end of the 2020 calendar 916,968 new cars were reported as sold – down by 13.7 per cent compared to the prior year. With the Federal Government’s instant asset write-off scheme, demand for utes, SUVs, and four-wheel-drives surged.
