Le Mans-winning Jaguar C-Type resurrected for low-volume production

Jaguar will resurrect its iconic C-Type sports car, however just eight examples are currently slated for production. The replicas – specified to match the 164kW 1953 Le Mans-winning variant – will be hand-built at Jaguar’s Classic Works facility in Coventry, and slot into the wider Classic Continuation range. Originally built between 1951 and 1953, the C-Type was designed by legendary aeronautical aerodynamicist Malcolm Sayer.
