A 1982 Holden Commodore VH SL/E finished in “Tahitian Blue” has been listed in Sydney for $54,995. With 121,418km on the clock, the 38-year-old vehicle is accompanied by its original servicing and warranty handbook. Bought new from Melbourne’s Reg Hunt Holden dealership the year it was built, the vehicle is optioned with cruise control, air conditioning, central locking and a trip computer. The smell of WD-40 – the multi-purpose lubricant spray used by mechanics and home handymen – is now available as a fragrance. Those who like to tinker with older cars will no doubt be familiar with the lubricating spray WD-40 – the penetrating oil that helps helps loosen, degrease, and protect nuts and bolts.
