Robert Downey Jr's custom 1974 BMW 3.0 CS is certainly unique

Iron Man star Robert Downey Jr. has made millions at the box office by playing an eccentric superhero who wears a custom mechanised suit to battle bad guys, so it makes sense the actor's real-life ride would be suitably tailor-made and unique. For his latest automotive purchase, Downey Jr. enlisted Wisconsin-based custom car builder SpeedKore to lend some X-factor to a 1974 BMW 3.0 CS – and the design brief was reportedly to blend modern materials with classic Euro styling.

A facelift for the 2024 Tesla Model Y electric SUV may be less than nine months away – after a similar update to the related Model 3 sedan earlier this year – according to a new report. News agency Bloomberg reports Tesla has begun “preparation work” to ready its Shanghai, China factory for a “more obvious” exterior and interior update to the Model Y . Thai media outlets including Headlight Magazine report Mitsubishi has sent invites to local media for the new Triton’s unveiling in Bangkok on 26 July 2023. Drive has previously reported on a global unveiling around the middle of this year, ahead of showroom arrivals due late this year or early next year. The design of the new Triton was previewed by the XRT Concept shown in Thailand earlier this year , with a larger body and tray than today’s model.
