BMW 7 Series: Electric flagship now official

BMW has confirmed the next generation of its 7 Series will have an all-electric variant – and that it will be the most powerful version offered. The electric 7 Series will exist alongside petrol, diesel and plug-in hybrid models and all powertrains will share the same architecture, according to BMW board chairman, Oliver Zipse.
