Volkswagen Amarok 580S Special Edition revealed

Volkswagen has added a limited-run Amarok 580S Special Edition to its dual-cab ute stable, with just 200 to be made. Power in the limited-run 580S comes from the same turbocharged V6 engine used elsewhere in the range-topping Amarok line-up, making 190kW (200kW on over boost) and 580Nm. It's put to all four wheels through an eight-speed torque converter transmission.

A facelift for the 2024 Tesla Model Y electric SUV may be less than nine months away – after a similar update to the related Model 3 sedan earlier this year – according to a new report. News agency Bloomberg reports Tesla has begun “preparation work” to ready its Shanghai, China factory for a “more obvious” exterior and interior update to the Model Y . Thai media outlets including Headlight Magazine report Mitsubishi has sent invites to local media for the new Triton’s unveiling in Bangkok on 26 July 2023. Drive has previously reported on a global unveiling around the middle of this year, ahead of showroom arrivals due late this year or early next year. The design of the new Triton was previewed by the XRT Concept shown in Thailand earlier this year , with a larger body and tray than today’s model.
