2019 Subaru XV recalled over seatbelt fault

Subaru has recalled the 2019 XV to fix a problem with the locking mechanism in the rear seatbelts. According to the company, one of the two locking mechanisms in the rear seatbelts mightn't lock the belt as designed. If one of the locking mechanisms doesn't work as intended, rear passengers might not be properly restrained in an accident, increasing their risk of injury or death. A total of 721 cars are included in the campaign – a VIN list is attached here.
