2017 Mazda CX-9 recalled

Mazda Australia has issued a recall for the 2017 model-year CX-9 crossover over concerns a wiring issue could cause "communication errors" between the vehicle's control modules. The company reports affected vehicles could have wiring harness connectors that have "weak retention force". Several issues could occur as a result: A total of 1280 SUVs are affected by this recall, available for sale between 16 October 2017 and 6 February 2019. The VIN list for these vehicles is available here.
