2020 Mercedes-AMG A45 10-plus seconds quicker around Nürburgring than predecessor

The new 2020 Mercedes-AMG A45 is at least 10 seconds quicker around the infamous Nürburgring race circuit than its predecessor, thanks to its more powerful engine and advanced all-wheel drive system. Although Mercedes-AMG representatives would not confirm an actual time, they admitted the car’s ability to lap the famous 'green hell' was at least 10 seconds quicker than its predecessor (which is known to have achieved a lap time around 8:04 seconds).

A facelift for the 2024 Tesla Model Y electric SUV may be less than nine months away – after a similar update to the related Model 3 sedan earlier this year – according to a new report. News agency Bloomberg reports Tesla has begun “preparation work” to ready its Shanghai, China factory for a “more obvious” exterior and interior update to the Model Y . Thai media outlets including Headlight Magazine report Mitsubishi has sent invites to local media for the new Triton’s unveiling in Bangkok on 26 July 2023. Drive has previously reported on a global unveiling around the middle of this year, ahead of showroom arrivals due late this year or early next year.
