Nissan CEO unaware of Renault's desire to pursue merger with Fiat Chrysler

Sources have told The Financial Times Renault is hoping to start merger talks with Nissan within 12 months, and then work on purchasing Fiat Chrysler Automobiles (FCA). According to wire reports (via Automotive News), when Saikawa was asked about whether he knew about Renault's reported plans, he replied, "not at all".

A facelift for the 2024 Tesla Model Y electric SUV may be less than nine months away – after a similar update to the related Model 3 sedan earlier this year – according to a new report. News agency Bloomberg reports Tesla has begun “preparation work” to ready its Shanghai, China factory for a “more obvious” exterior and interior update to the Model Y . Thai media outlets including Headlight Magazine report Mitsubishi has sent invites to local media for the new Triton’s unveiling in Bangkok on 26 July 2023.
