Subaru BRZ and Toyota 86 successor cancelled - report

Toyota might be committed to bringing the fun back into its line-up, but that's no guarantee its affordable, rear-wheel drive collaboration with Subaru will make it into a second generation. Reports from Japan have suggested Toyota and Subaru have decided to put a stop to their BRZ and 86 joint venture, with Toyota instead turning focus to the lower-end four-cylinder Supra and rumoured electric MR2.
