Toyota Prius, Prius V recalled

Toyota has re-recalled a batch of Prius and Prius V hybrids, over concerns the fix provided to the power management ECU on both models wasn't sufficient first-time around. According to the company, affected vehicles are fitted with faulty power management ECU software. In the event of an issue, it's meant to put the car in a 'fail-safe mode' and illuminate the relevant warning lights, along with flashing a warning message on the in-dash display.
