Jaguar F-Type Chequered Flag revealed, priced from $139,650

Jaguar has announced the F-Type Chequered Flag, commemorating seven decades since the original XK 120 was launched in 1948. Based on the R-Dynamic specification, the special-edition F-Type can be had in both coupe and convertible body styles, and is offered with both turbocharged four-cylinder and supercharged V6 engines.

A US high school teacher is facing legal action – and $US4000 ($AU6000) in costs – after being accused of renting a turbocharged Toyota Supra performance coupe from a car-sharing service and used the vehicle in a racing competition without the owner’s knowledge. A facelift for the 2024 Tesla Model Y electric SUV may be less than nine months away – after a similar update to the related Model 3 sedan earlier this year – according to a new report. News agency Bloomberg reports Tesla has begun “preparation work” to ready its Shanghai, China factory for a “more obvious” exterior and interior update to the Model Y . Thai media outlets including Headlight Magazine report Mitsubishi has sent invites to local media for the new Triton’s unveiling in Bangkok on 26 July 2023. Drive has previously reported on a global unveiling around the middle of this year, ahead of showroom arrivals due late this year or early next year.
