HSV Colorado SportsCat gets five-year, unlimited-kilometre warranty

HSV has announced it's bringing the Colorado SportsCat warranty into line with that of the wider Holden range, offering five-year unlimited-kilometre coverage for its jacked-up dual-cab. The extended coverage period applies to all cars sold after July 1, 2018, replacing the existing three-year offering, and placing it on a level playing field with the just-launched Ford Ranger Raptor. Five years of roadside assist is also part of the deal, as with the broader Holden range.

BYD Dolphin electric-car arrival pushed back, due later this year alongside Seal sedan

Chinese electric-car giant BYD’s next two models for Australia – the city-sized Dolphin and larger Seal – are due closer to the end of this year than previously forecast. The Australian arrival of the BYD Dolphin electric hatchback has been delayed to the second half of this year, ahead of the BYD Seal electric sedan due before year’s end. BYD’s Australian distributor EVDirect has advised the  Dolphin  hatch is now due to open for orders in July 2023, and commence deliveries soon after – a delay compared to the first half of 2023 timing previously announced. The Tesla Model 3-sized Seal  sedan – previously confirmed for the “second half of 2023” – is now scheduled to open for orders and begin deliveries in the fourth quarter of 2023 (October to December), pending any further delays. 2023 Toyota HiLux GR Sport imagined with this artist impression

The new flagship of the Toyota HiLux range was caught on camera in Thailand late last year wearing little disguise. Now we have created an artist impression of what it could look like. Last month we got our first look at a camouflaged version of the 2023 Toyota HiLux GR Sport , the flagship ute set to replace the range-topping Toyota HiLux Rugged X in Australian showrooms later this year. Now we have an artist impression of the 2023 Toyota HiLux GR Sport (pictured above) that aims to remove some of the camouflage of the test vehicle caught on camera in Thailand mid-December 2022. As previously reported, although other versions of the Toyota HiLux GR Sport have been launched in Europe, South Africa and Japan over the past year or so, the 2023 edition appears to be the most aggressive yet.
