Elderly man builds 447kW Golf R - Video

The Volkswagen Golf R is hardly what you'd call slow, but imagine doubling the amount of power it produces. Well, a 75-year-old man in the UK has done just that. His Mk7 Golf R has been tuned to deliver just under 600bhp (447kW), not that you'd be able to tell by looking at it. The main changes contributing to the power bump are a massive turbocharger and upgraded fuel pump he's "shoehorned" into the engine bay. A facelift for the 2024 Tesla Model Y electric SUV may be less than nine months away – after a similar update to the related Model 3 sedan earlier this year – according to a new report. News agency Bloomberg reports Tesla has begun “preparation work” to ready its Shanghai, China factory for a “more obvious” exterior and interior update to the Model Y . Thai media outlets including Headlight Magazine report Mitsubishi has sent invites to local media for the new Triton’s unveiling in Bangkok on 26 July 2023. Drive has previously reported on a global unveiling around the middle of this year, ahead of showroom arrivals due late this year or early next year. The design of the new Triton was previewed by the XRT Concept shown in Thailand earlier this year , with a larger body and tray than today’s model.
